CHEESECAKE FACTORY'S CHICKEN PASTA RECIPE by Mr. Make It Happen

SHOPPING LIST

  • Boneless skinless chicken breast

  • Red and Yellow Bell Pepper (chopped)

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup diced mushrooms

  • 1 lb bowtie pasta (or pasta of your choice)

  • 2 tbsps butter

  • 1/2 diced red onion

  • AP and Lemon Bae Seasoning

  • Red pepper flakes

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2-3 tbsps flour

  • 2 cups grated parmesan

  • diced parsley

Chicken:

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs + 1/2 cup parmesan

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • oil for frying


DIRECTIONS - In this recipe, we will be using the same skillet to cook the ingredients for our dish.

PASTA NOODLES

  1. Bring water to a boil in a pot with a healthy pinch of salt

  2. Add 1lb of Bowtie Noodles (or your choice) and cook to your desired texture

  3. Drain when finished

PASTA SAUCE

  1. In a pot on medium-high heat, add 1-2 tbsp of butter and add your red and yellow bell peppers, 1/2 chopped red onions, and 1 cup of diced mushrooms and mix.

  2. Sautee until nice and tender

  3. Add 2 tbsp minced garlic or garlic paste, and stir

  4. Season with Lemon Bae Seasoning and, Red Pepper Flakes Creole Seasoning (Adjust seasoning to your preference) and mix.

  5. Add 2 tbsp of All-Purpose flour (depending on desired thickness)

  6. Mix and deglaze with 1 cup of chicken broth, stir thoroughly

  7. Deglaze your skillet and scrape the sides of your pot to mix all seasonings

  8. Increase your heat and bring to a boil

  9. Once you see your sauce has thickened, add 2 cups of heavy cream

  10. Lower to medium heat and allow it to simmer

  11. Once it's a nice consistency, lower the heat again, add in 2 cups of grated parmesan, and mix. TASTE AS YOU GO!

  12. Pour your drained pasta noodles into your sauce and allow them to finish cooking in the sauce

CHICKEN

  1. Butterfly your chicken (cut them in half vertically) and cover them in saran wrap and flatten it out with a mallet so it can cook evenly

  2. Season both sides with Lemon Bae or your choice of All-Purpose Seasoning (Lemon Pepper or Cajun Seasoning)

FRYING - PREHEAT OIL TO 350 DEGREES

  1. Get 3 bowls or plates (large enough to fit your chicken breast) and place 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 beaten eggs, and 2 cups of panko bread crumbs.

  2. Add some All-Purpose Seasoning to the flour, and grate about 1/2 -1 full cup of parmesan cheese into the bread crumbs and mix

  3. Take your seasoned chicken breast and place it in the flour first, then into the egg wash, and then into the panko bread crumbs. Be sure to coat both sides of the chicken nicely.

  4. Gently place the chicken breast into the oil until it has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Be sure to move them around so they don't stick

  5. Place on a wire rack to cool when done

FINAL STEPS

  1. Place your pasta on a plate

  2. Slice your chicken breast to your desired thickness

  3. Place your crunchy chicken breasts on top of your pasta and...
